“Some people look at the guitar as fixed,” says Abasi, “but I’m inspired by pushing the design further. This is a new thing in the guitar space—which is exciting—but I also wanted to add to the tools available to guitar players, providing one more option that maybe didn’t exist before.”
The Kaizen includes a “decidedly contoured” body with no flat surfaces, a multiscale fretboard with an “Infinity radius” that improves visibility while playing, a custom tremolo usually not offered on multiscale guitars, a custom-wound Music Man HT bridge humbucker and Steinberger Gearless locking tuners.
