Specifically designed to add depth, power and headroom to the MicroMain45 nearfield reference monitor, the Barefoot Sound MicroSub45 houses a pair of opposing 8” Dual-Force technology woofers that deliver clean low-frequency extension down to 25 Hz. As an added benefit, because each MicroSub45 generates 500W of power and its analog high-pass filter crosses over from the MicroMain45 at 80 Hz, it also increases the headroom of your entire system.

Adds Dual-Force Low Frequency Extension

The MicroMain45 combines the same signal path, amplifier and driver technologies as Barefoot Sound’s flagship MiniMain12 and has become a favorite of many engineers and musicians. But for Barefoot Sound to create a compact and affordable package while still delivering the company’s renowned resolution and translation, the MicroMain45 is the only 3-way reference monitor in the product line that does not include Dual-Force technology. Now, with the addition of the MicroSub45 subwoofers offers current MicroMain45 users and prospective owners an upgrade path.
