The Mapex Quantum Mark II Gloss White bass drums offer superior performance for your marching ensemble. Constructed with a consistent 14″ shell depth across all drum sizes, each bass drum features a six-ply maple shell, the overall thickness is only 5.8mm, with 2.4mm birch reinforcement edge rings for added shell integrity. The birch reinforcement edge ring incorporates the SONIClear bearing edge, designed to allow the drumhead to lay flatter against the shell to provide a warm and rich resonant tone. Specific number of featured air vents on each size drum allow for a consistent focused tone and attenuated sustain. The externally adjustable eyebolts allow for easy height adjustment without needing to remove drumheads so you can adjust the drum to fit the player easily. The Quantum Mark II bass drums are available with aluminum alloy hoops and Gloss Chrome hardware finish.
